Ejecto Pilot Ranks and XP Progression Guide

November 1, 2026 · 5 min read

Pilot ranks in Ejecto represent a six-tier profile progression system driven entirely by accumulated experience points (XP). You advance through each rank simply by flying rounds and collecting wins, regardless of how many coins you place on any bet.

How does XP work in Ejecto?

Experience points measure your flight career over time. In Ejecto, gaining XP is straightforward because it follows two simple rules:

  • Round participation: You gain 10 XP for every round you bet on. Canceling a bet before takeoff removes that round from your count.
  • Winning a round: You gain an extra 15 XP whenever you successfully cash out before the plane crashes.

This means a successful cash out awards a total of 25 XP (10 for playing plus 15 for the win). If the plane crashes before you cash out, you still receive 10 XP for participating in the flight.

Crucially, the size of your bet has no effect on XP. Placing a minimum bet of 10 coins awards the exact same XP as placing a 500 coin or MAX bet. For example, if you play 100 rounds and secure 50 wins, your arithmetic is:

  • 100 rounds times 10 XP equals 1,000 XP from participation.
  • 50 wins times 15 XP equals 750 XP from winning cash outs.
  • Total XP equals 1,000 plus 750, giving 1,750 XP.

At 1,750 XP, your profile sits squarely in the Pilot rank.

Every player begins at the starting rank upon creating an account with Google sign-in. There are six ranks in total:

  1. Rookie: 0 XP. The baseline tier assigned to all new players starting with 1,000 coins.
  2. Cadet: 200 XP. Reached quickly after your initial batch of flights.
  3. Pilot: 800 XP. Reflects steady participation and successful cash outs.
  4. Captain: 2,500 XP. Marks an experienced player with hundreds of rounds flown.
  5. Ace: 7,000 XP. A milestone reached by dedicated regular pilots.
  6. Legend: 20,000 XP. The pinnacle tier of the Ejecto progression system.

How many rounds does each rank take?

Because XP depends on both round completion and cash-out success, the number of rounds needed to reach a rank varies with your win rate.

Here is the arithmetic for three different win rates:

  • Path A (100% win rate): Every single round is a win, yielding 25 XP per flight.
  • Path B (50% win rate): Half of the rounds are wins and half are crashes, yielding an average of 17.5 XP per flight ((25 + 10) divided by 2).
  • Path C (0% win rate): The plane crashes before cashing out every round, yielding 10 XP per flight.

Here is the round breakdown for all six ranks:

Breaking down the arithmetic

To calculate rounds at a 50 percent win rate, divide the rank threshold by 17.5 and round up to the nearest completed round:

  • Cadet (200 XP): 200 divided by 17.5 equals 11.4 rounds. In practice, 6 wins (150 XP) and 6 losses (60 XP) equal 210 XP in 12 rounds.
  • Pilot (800 XP): 800 divided by 17.5 equals 45.7 rounds. Reaching 46 rounds with 23 wins yields 805 XP.
  • Captain (2,500 XP): 2,500 divided by 17.5 equals 142.8 rounds. Flying 143 rounds with 72 wins yields 2,510 XP.
  • Ace (7,000 XP): 7,000 divided by 17.5 equals 400 rounds exactly (200 wins and 200 losses).
  • Legend (20,000 XP): 20,000 divided by 17.5 equals 1,142.8 rounds. Flying 1,143 rounds with 572 wins yields 20,010 XP.

If you use auto cash out at a low multiplier such as 1.10x, which the plane reaches 90 percent of the time, your average moves toward 23.5 XP per round, so ranks take fewer rounds. It doesn't change your long-run coin average.

Where to view your rank and profile stats

Your rank is displayed prominently on your player profile alongside detailed performance statistics. The game records and displays:

  • Total rounds flown
  • Total round wins
  • Biggest single-round coin win
  • Highest multiplier achieved
  • Recent bet records
  • Full betting history, which is retained for roughly 90 days

Other players can see your rank on the leaderboards.

Do pilot ranks change your odds or coin payouts?

Ranks in Ejecto are purely cosmetic and serve as a record of your flight experience. Advancing to Captain, Ace, or Legend does not increase your odds, grant coin multipliers, or modify game behavior.

Every player faces the exact same game conditions. The multiplier starts at 1.00x, compounds at 10 percent per second, and crashes at a server-chosen random point regardless of who is in the cockpit. No betting strategy changes the 99 percent average return. Rank simply records your time in the air. If you need coins to keep flying, read how to get more coins.
